Preventing and detecting skin cancer

In summer we can fully enjoy it once again: the sun. When sunbathing on the beach or in the garden, however, many people are also concerned about its long term consequences. Over many years, researchers have identified a number of factors that favour the development of skin cancer. Too much sun is the primary suspect, but sunlight alone does not explain why some people develop skin cancer, but many others do not.
